Privacy policy

Draft for orientation. Before publishing, please complete it with real details and have it checked legally (for example through a generator such as e-recht24, or a solicitor). The points below reflect the current technical state of the site.

1. Controller

Martin Breitsprecher
[Street and number], [postcode] Hamburg, Germany
Email: martin@breitsprecher.de

2. Hosting

This website is hosted with Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA, USA) through the Cloudflare Pages service. When the pages are called up, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (in particular the IP address) to deliver the content and to ensure security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). A data processing agreement is in place.

3. Waitlist sign-up

When you enter your details in the form, we process your email address to inform you about the launch of the platform and to provide you with the free reading sample. The address is stored in a Cloudflare store (Workers KV). The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to the address given above.

4. Fonts and icons

At present, fonts (Google Fonts) and icons (Tabler Icons) are loaded from external servers (Google and jsDelivr respectively). In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to these providers. A more data-minimising delivery through self-hosting is in preparation.

5. Server logs

The host automatically collects information that your browser transmits (browser type, operating system, referrer URL, time of the request, IP address). This data serves technical delivery and security and is not combined with other data sources.

6. Your rights

  • Access to the data stored about you (Article 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Article 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent given (Article 7(3) GDPR)
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR)
